Two viewing platforms are set on top of the structure, which can be reached via the 441 steps or the panorama lift. From a height of around 50 meters, the longest slide in Europe takes you back down into the depths. The viewing tower is located in the village of Dolni Morava and is 58.8 m tall. The sustainable, almost 30 m long structure made of glued laminated timber special components was erected as a pilot project. The HASSLACHER group supplied the products for the extraordinary bridge. The two special glued laminated timber beams are each 4.1 m wide, and have a length of 32.7 m and 24.7 m, and a thickness of 1.1 m and 0.85 m, and a volume of 125 m\u00b3 and 70 m\u00b3 respectively. Each supporting structure consists of 17 individual girders, which were block-bonded to form a composite component using a special pressing device. The 25 cm thick concrete slab applied on site is rigidly connected to the wooden supporting structure via milled-in cores and absorbs both the compressive forces in the beam and the structural wood The project Haikou Community Center is intended to symbolize the dawn of a new age and to transfer the old timber construction tradition into the modern age. 1,300 m\u00b3 of glued laminated timber special components were used to span a brick building and to expand the covered area. The roof was covered with shingles to give the construction a natural look and to embed it perfectly into the tropical surroundings of the popular holiday island. The glued laminated timber used was produced at the HASSLACHER group&#8217;s location in Hermagor and shipped by container to the port of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n                    \n
